Duddy to face Haitian opponent next
28/01/2006 - 02:14:00John Duddy's will be facing experienced Haitian fighter Julio Jean for his February 4 outing in downtown Boston.
Undefeated Derry middleweight Duddy (14-0, 3 KOs) will be expected to see of the challenge of the Florida-based Jean on the Park Plaza card, but will have to be on his toes.
Jean is coming off the back of a unanimous points win against former two-time Nigerian Olympian Eromosele Albert, who was unbeaten in ten pro bouts.
Teed up to fight Chicago brawler Miguel Hernandez at Madison Square Garden on March 16, Duddy is placed 15th in the latest World Boxing Association middleweight rankings.
