Phillips back for Villa
27/01/2006 - 15:08:46Aston Villa striker Kevin Phillips will return after a two-month absence with an ankle injury for the FA Cup clash with Port Vale.
The former Southampton forward will be amongst the substitutes as Villa bid to reach the last 16 of the competition for the first time in six years.
Gareth Barry will be serving a one-match suspension after his sending-off for two yellow cards in the goalless draw at Tottenham last weekend.
Jlloyd Samuel – the target of abuse from Villa fans on his rare appearances this season – is likely to be given a rare outing at left-back.
