Kyle ready for action
27/01/2006 - 09:24:51Sunderland striker Kevin Kyle is in line for his first senior appearance since August 2004 in the club’s FA Cup fourth round clash with Brentford tomorrow.
The 24-year-old Scotsman is back in the squad after a 17-month lay-off with a hip cartilage problem and could play a part at some point in the game at Griffin Park.
Manager Mick McCarthy has no fresh injury worries as George McCartney (hamstring), Stephen Wright (calf), Stephen Elliott (back) and Chris Brown (ankle) continue their fights for fitness.
