Special edition release offers plenty for Hendrix fans

This documentary by Joe Boyd was first released back in 1973, but this special two-disc edition captures the essence of the world’s greatest guitarist. Packed with concert footage and tributes from Clapton and Jagger among others, this includes classic renditions of Hey Joe, Like A Rolling Stone and the amazing guitar licks on A Star Spangled Banner.
Extras include Hendrix performing Stone Free at the Atlanta Pop Festival in 1970 and a wealth of featurettes. Unmissable.
