Fishing vessel held for breaking EU fishing laws
21/01/2006 - 15:54:38A fishing boat has been detained off the east coast for breaking EU fishing laws.
The vessel had no monitoring system on board to allow the Navy track its whereabouts.
The boat has been escorted to Skerries in Dublin.
It is the first time an Irish vessel has been detained for this reason.
