Catt top of list for Leicester job
19/01/2006 - 11:33:21It looks as though Londson Irish are set to lose Mike Catt to the Leicester Tigers.
The smart utility back will finish his playing days at the end of this season and he has already been asked to coach the Tigers backs, as head coach Pat Howard will return to Australia in the summer.
It is believed that Leicester drew up a shortlist of three candidates. Jim Mallinder has taken charge of England's Academy and Scott Johnson will also return to Australia. That leaves Catt as the outstanding choice to make the direct move from playing to coaching.
