Casey extends contract
19/01/2006 - 13:56:10Ireland lock Bob Casey quashed rumours of a return to his native Leinster by signing on for another two years at London Irish.
"I am extremely happy to have re-signed for another two years with London Irish. We are building something special at this club and I very much want to be part of it," he said.
Brian Smith, London Irish Director of Rugby, was equally delighted: "This is great news for the club. In my opinion Bob is one of the best locks in the Guinness Premiership. Week in, week he puts his heart on the line and competes. He is an important part of what we are building here and we are delighted that he is staying."
