Gardaí to question injured woman over Waterford stabbing
19/01/2006 - 13:52:18Gardaí in Waterford are waiting to question a female hospital patient in connection with a stabbing incident in the city yesterday afternoon.
The woman is currently being treated for minor injuries, but will be detained as soon as she is discharged from hospital later today.
Gardaí want to question her in connection with the stabbing of a man in his 50s on High Street yesterday afternoon.
The victim remains in a critical condition in hospital following the attack.
Three people were arrested in connection with the stabbing last night, but were later released without charge.
