McInerney rises on ISEQ
19/01/2006 - 17:40:53McInerney Holdings rose 20c to €11.15 following their announcement that its total private-house completions increased by 13% to 1,831 in 2005, compared with 1,614 units at year-end 2004, the company said this morning in a trading update.
That wasn't enough to boost the ISEQ into the black however as it had slipped 8.55 points to 7459.3 by the end of day's trading.
The financials enjoyed mostly good fortunes. AIB rose 13c to €17.98, Anglo Irish Bank rose 4c to €12.74 and Bank of Ireland rose 1c to €17.12.
Irish Life and Permanent fell 3c to €17.12.
Elsewhere pharmaceutical company Elan suffered one of the day's biggest losses, falling 35c to €13.15
Low-budget airline Ryanairrose 12c to €7.87
