Spain: Security guard kills colleague
09/01/2006 - 18:59:04A security guard was killed and two others were injured today with a shotgun in what police said was a gunfight between colleagues in Madrid’s central office and communication centre.
The 35-year-old man, who started the shootout, committed suicide afterwards.
Two other people, including a 50-year-old woman, were injured and taken to a hospital after the shootings in downtown Madrid with life threatening injuries, said a spokesman for the Madrid’s accident and emergency service SAMUR.
An investigation was under way.
