Man preparing car bomb killed in Kabul blast
09/01/2006 - 10:00:52A man preparing a car bomb in the Afghan capital was killed when it exploded prematurely, police said today.
The blast occurred in a western suburb of Kabul late yesterday, said Gen. Zalmay Hryakhail, a district police commander. No one else was hurt.
The dead man’s father and three brothers were arrested.
Police found another car already wired with explosives at their home, Hryakhail said.
