Three arrested over 'abduction' of girl, three

Detectives are questioning three men in connection with the alleged kidnap and rape of a three-year-old girl from Cardiff, police said today.

The child was allegedly abducted from her home in the Rumney area of Cardiff on Monday evening.

The car in which she was travelling crashed in Wiltshire following a police pursuit yesterday.

She was airlifted to hospital and was still being treated for “significant” injuries, South Wales Police said.

The men, aged 26, 34 and 47 are being questioned in South Wales.

The 26-year-old man was arrested in the Swindon area after his vehicle was followed by police. The other two men were arrested in Wales.
