Government to invest €3m in community development
31/12/2005 - 08:38:21The Government has announced it’s to give nearly €3m towards improving community development agencies throughout the country.
This brings to €3.4m the total amount allocated towards streamlining the agencies to make them more effective.
According to Rural Affairs Minister, Eamonn O'Cuiv, the money will make it easier for the groups to tackle disadvantage at local levels.
