Croc hunter called in to track Reggie
31/12/2005 - 12:07:40Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin has been called in to help wrangle a beast in Harbor City, California.
Earlier this year, two pranksters released the crocodile, named Reggie, in Machado Lake, where it has become a menace to passersby. The two men are facing 20 misdemeanour charges.
Reggie hasn't been spotted for three months, but Australian reptile expert Irwin fears the beast is hibernating and will re-emerge hungry in the spring.
Irwin plans to turn his efforts in capturing the crocodile into a new TV special.
