US teenager who travelled solo to Iraq heads home
30/12/2005 - 14:20:33A 16-year-old from Florida who travelled to Iraq on his own without telling his parents has left the country and is on his way home.
Farris Hassan, of Ft. Lauderdale, had been under the care of the US Embassy after being on his own in Iraq for several days.
Hassan “has now safely departed Baghdad and this young American is on his way back home to his family in the United States,” the US Embassy’s consul general said.
