Four hospitalised after arson attack in Derry

Three men and a woman are recovering today following an overnight arson attack on a house in the Prince's Street area of Derry.

Two of the occupants had to jump from a first-floor window to escape the blaze, which caused extensive damage to the building.

All four were later treated for burns and smoke inhalation in hospital, while the two who jumped were believed to have also sustained impact injuries.

The PSNI has described the fire as malicious and is appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
