Leicester abandoned
27/12/2005 - 10:24:53This afternoon’s meeting at Leicester has been abandoned due to frost and snow.
Clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson initially inspected the track at 8am before calling a further inspection in the hope conditions would improve.
He said: “Unfortunately we have had to abandon as the temperature is still below freezing.
“There is frost in the ground and it is snowing at the moment.”
