Taoiseach makes Christmas address
25/12/2005 - 10:11:54The Taoiseach has wished us all a happy Christmas.
Bertie Ahern asked everyone to drive carefully, and to take the time to check on older neighbours who may be living alone.
He also extended special season's greetings to anyone working over the Christmas holidays.
"Christmas is traditionally a time when families and communities come together to celebrate the special and significant occasion in Irish life, and I hope that everyone gets a well-deserved break," he said.
