Walford doubtful for Kingscliff mount
15/12/2005 - 12:08:06Robert Walford looks set to miss the ride on Kingscliff in the Stan James King George VI Chase at Sandown on St Stephen's Day after he suffered a suspected fractured collar bone.
The 25-year-old jockey was schooling a horse at Robert Alner’s Dorset yard when the accident happened this morning and he was taken to Blandford hospital for X-rays.
“It is just unbelievable but that is racing for you,” said Alner.
