Pitt to adopt Jolie's children
05/12/2005 - 08:34:54Brad Pitt is adopting lover Angelina Jolie's two children, according to his publicist.
The Troy star has applied to become adoptive father to four-year-old Maddox and nine-month-old Zahara Marley. If his application is successful, their surnames will be changed to Jolie-Pitt.
The couple met on the set of movie Mr And Mrs Smith; becoming an item in the wake of Pitt's January split with then wife Jennifer Aniston.
Pitt's publicist Cindy Guagenti says: "We are confirming that Brad Pitt is in the process of becoming the adoptive father of both children."
