Pair charged after Goodison clash
30/11/2005 - 10:30:19Everton midfielder Tim Cahill and Newcastle defender Celestine Babayaro have been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association after clashing at Goodison Park on Sunday.
The pair were involved in an incident which saw them both lash out at each other after they tangled in the penalty area during Everton’s 1-0 Barclays Premiership victory over the Magpies.
Both players have until 6pm today to respond to the charge. The cases will be heard by an FA disciplinary commission tomorrow.
