Catterick passes inspection
30/11/2005 - 08:21:55This afternoon’s meeting at Catterick will go ahead after the track passed a 7.30am inspection.
Temperatures dipped below freezing overnight but clerk of the course Jonjo Sanderson reports the track to be raceable.
He said: “We are racing. It did go down to minus two overnight but as it’s the first meeting of the season we have got that bit of grass cover to protect the track.
“It’s already warming up here and it’s due to be somewhere between three and five degrees.”
