BT Ireland wins Ramada Hotels wi-fi contract
30/11/2005 - 10:58:45BT Ireland has won a contract to provide BT Openzone wireless broadband in up to 30 Ramada Hotels in Ireland.
Ramada Hotels boss Michael Knox-Johnston said: "We recognise that broadband internet access is an increasingly demanded service, in particular in the hotel sector where wi-fi hotspots play an essential role for our guests to have access to their email and corporate systems."
There are now more than 7,000 BT wi-fi "hotspots" across Ireland and the UK, including Ramada Jarvis Hotels in the UK.
