Crawford turned down royal meeting
29/11/2005 - 08:41:26Cindy Crawford once turned down a date with Prince William, because he was just a teenager at the time.
The supermodel was flattered when William's mother, Diana, Princess Of Wales, asked her to meet her son, who was a huge fan - but she was aware the young royal was underage.
She tells Maxim magazine: "I thought, 'I could be your mother!'
"His mother called me once when I was in London to come meet him, but he was only 16 (sic) at the time. He has turned into quite a nice-looking young man."
