Lithuanian man dies after suspected assault in Dublin
28/11/2005 - 07:21:11Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the death of a Lithuanian man following a suspected assault in Dublin overnight.
The 29-year-old victim arrived at a flat belonging to some of his friends at Bridgewater Quay in Islandbridge shortly before 11.30pm last night with serious head injuries.
He was subsequently taken by ambulance to St James's Hospital, where he died early today.
The man told his friends he had been attacked and the Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed that assault to come forward.
