Gardaí release man held in relation to Blackrock murder
28/11/2005 - 08:34:03Gardaí in Dublin have released the man they were holding in connection with the murder of a 48-year-old woman in south Co Dublin at the weekend.
The man was arrested yesterday in connection with the death of Regina O'Connor, whose body was found at her house in Castlebyrne Park on Saturday afternoon.
The victim, who was originally from Rwanda, died following a serious assault.
The man arrested in connection with her death was released last night pending instructions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.
However, he was subsequently rearrested in connection with a number of unrelated charges and is due in court on those charges later today.
