Cannabis worth €12m seized at warehouse
28/11/2005 - 17:48:43Cannabis resin worth almost €12m was seized at a warehouse in south Dublin today.
A total of 1.8 tonnes of the drug were discovered by gardaí and officers from Revenue’s Customs Service, after it was shipped into Dublin Port from Spain, a spokesman said.
The resin had been packed into boxes labelled as “notepads” and loaded onto pallets, the Revenue spokesman said.
A garda investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have yet been made, he added.
