Leicester gets thumbs up
27/11/2005 - 10:16:15Today’s meeting at Leicester will go ahead following a 7.30am inspection.
The temperature dipped to minus two overnight but had steadily risen by dawn taking any frost out of the ground.
“We’re ready to go,” said clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson.
“It did get down to minus two but the cloud’s come over so everything’s fine.”
The going remains good to firm on the chase course and good to soft, soft in places on the hurdle course.
