Are Take That back for good?

25/11/2005 - 07:24:13
Take That are today expected to announce that they are to reform.

The boy band – minus Robbie Williams – will hold a press conference where they will make a “very exciting announcement”.

It is rumoured that Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen will tour next year, 10 years after they split.

Interest in the band has revived, thanks the recent tell-all ITV documentary and the release of their greatest hits album.

And lead singer Barlow said last week they had been offered £1 million each to go back on the road.

“Robbie has been included in the offer but I don’t know what he thinks,” he said. “But we would do it without him. I think we’d have to.

“Financially it’s a very tempting idea and I know a lot of our fans would like it.

“Our live shows were what made Take That great, so if we came back it would have to beat that otherwise I wouldn’t want to do it.”

He added: “We won’t make another album together. But next year we could tour.

“It is certainly something everyone is open to if people want to come to see us.”
