Council buys hidden camera to tackle illegal dumping

23/11/2005 - 07:52:59
Sligo County Council is reportedly planning to use hidden cameras to catch people involved in illegal dumping and other anti-social behaviour.

The council's staff can monitor the camera footage 24 hours-a-day and the evidence collected could eventually be used as part of criminal prosecutions.
