Three killed in lorry collision
19/11/2005 - 13:44:08Three people died today when the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry in Co Laois.
Gardaí said two men and a women were confirmed dead at the scene of the accident at Money Cross, Stradbally.
The driver of the lorry escaped injury in the crash, which happened shortly after 10.30am.
The incident brings the number of road fatalities in the Irish Republic to five in the last 24 hours, following separate accidents in Co Louth and Co Dublin.
