Man quizzed over cannabis haul
18/11/2005 - 09:20:35Gardaí were questioning a man today about the seizure of €180,000 of cannabis in Co Meath.
The discovery was made by detectives who carried out a search of a premises in Navan last night.
They also uncovered a firearm and arrested a man in his 30s. He is being detained at Navan garda station under section two of the Drug Trafficking Act.
It follows the seizure of €7m of cannabis by gardaí and customs officers in Dublin’s city centre on Tuesday.
