Jackson mis-read bathroom sign
Michael Jackson used the ladies restroom in a Dubai shopping mall because he couldn't read the sign on the door, according to his spokeswoman.
The pop superstar was reportedly confronted with a woman who claims she caught him adjusting his make-up in a mirror in the bathroom at the Ibn Battuta Mall.
The woman - known only as Latifah M - claims she began taking pictures of Jackson on her mobile phone, which she was later forced to delete by mall security guards and Jackson's minders.
But his representative Raymone Bain insists the star made a simple mistake because he didn't recognise the Arabic sign on the door and left as soon as he realised where he was.
Bain says: "Upon his exit (from the ladies bathroom), he was recognised and a crowd ensued. He had to wait in a nearby bookstore until police arrived to escort him through the crowd."
Jackson is currently in Dubai staying with rally driving champion, Mohammed Bin Sulayem - who hopes to convince Jackson to make the emirate his permanent home: "He likes the place and we want him to stay for good here. He likes what he saw and we should try to convince him to buy."
