Credit Unions may soon offer mortgage products
18/11/2005 - 13:30:04Irish credit unions could soon be offering mortgages to their customers following a decision by the Financial Regulator today.
The regulator has given its approval to plans by Bishopstown Credit Union in Cork to act as an agent for IIB Homeloans.
It is also examining similar applications from other credit unions around the country.
