North Terrace of Lansdowne to remain closed

16/11/2005 - 16:09:47
Following a survey of the Lansdowne Road's North Terrace, consulting engineers have advised the IRFU that the terrace has again been declared out of use for the forthcoming internationals against Australia and Romania.

The terrace was damaged by a small fire last Friday afternoon, and the area was closed as a precaution ahead of last Saturday’s match with New Zealand

Ticket holders will be able to claim their money back by the following means:

Tickets issued by rugby clubs: International match tickets are issued by the IRFU to the Provincial Branches in Ulster, Munster, Leinster and Connacht, who in turn distribute these tickets to the Clubs. Each IRFU Provincial Branch will refund tickets directly to the clubs who will then issue the ticket refund to club members.

Tickets issued through ARU: Tickets issued to members of the public through the Australian Rugby Union will be able to receive their refund directly from the ARU.

Tickets bought on www.IrishRugby.ie: Members of the public who bought tickets through the IRFU website, www.irishrugby.ie, will be refunded to the full value of the package and booking fee directly to North Terrace ticket holder’s credit cards.
