Student jailed for bringing cocaine into Ireland
16/11/2005 - 18:12:37A foreign student who was caught bringing cocaine into the country has been jailed for seven years.
22 year-old Omoniyi Odeyemi, who has addresses in Nigeria and London, had nearly €400,000 worth of the drug and three passports at Dublin Airport last December.
He pleaded guilty to the charges despite denying knowledge of what was in a bag he claimed to be carrying for his uncle.
