15/11/2005 - 14:33:45Hollywood beauty Reese Witherspoon had no trouble playing a ghost in her new movie because she once saw her dead grandfather watching her rehearse on-stage.
The Legally Blonde actress, who plays a dead woman who falls in love with the new occupant of her apartment in Just Like Heaven, was reading through lines for a play in New York City when she saw her recently departed granddad watching from the stalls.
She says: "I've seen my dead grandfather's ghost before. I was doing a play reading in New York and there was no one in the audience. Then I looked out and he was there watching me.
"I looked down, looked up again and he was gone. That was right after he'd died."
