Hain wants clarification of UDA's future
14/11/2005 - 15:53:51The Northern Secretary Peter Hain has asked the UDA for greater clarity on its future intentions.
The protestant paramilitary group has said that it wants to make progress in response to recent IRA developments and would like a meeting with the British government.
Mr Hain hinted that it might be possible but only if it is a genuine political breakthrough on behalf of the whole UDA.
