Annan visits Baghdad
12/11/2005 - 09:39:16UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan arrived in Baghdad today for a meeting with Iraqi leaders, the prime minister’s spokesman said.
Annan was expected to hold a press conference with Prime Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari at midday today, government spokesman Leith Kubba said.
Annan’s arrival follows consecutive meetings with the Foreign Secretary Jack Straw and US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
