The Constant Gardener is a fine film full of surprises

An Oscar-nominated director and a novel by John le Carre, set in Kenya and involving an unlikely hero investigating the brutal murder of the wife of a minor British diplomat. And a fine film of passion, obsession, conspiracy and surprises.
Weisz plays the victim, an activist who might actually have fled from her husband (Fiennes) to be with her doctor lover, now disappeared.
The plot involves Fiennes's search for the truth; which might not be what he deserves to find.
