Dublin Bus drivers expected to vote for strike action
11/11/2005 - 10:32:42Dublin Bus drivers are expected to vote in favour of industrial action over the introduction of new work rosters.
The changes are due to be implemented at the start of next month under legislation imposing a ceiling of 48 hours on the working week.
The National Bus and Railworkers has organised a strike ballot among its members at Dublin Bus due to the loss of earnings they may suffer as a result.
The result of the vote is expected to be known around lunchtime.
