Website set up to compare mobile phone costs
10/11/2005 - 13:25:57The Communications Regulator is set up a website allowing consumers to compare the prices of Ireland's four mobile phone companies.
The site - www.callcosts.ie - asks users to enter details about their phone usage and then calculates which product suits them best.
Speaking at the launch of the initiative today, consumer champion Eddie Hobbs said it was a major development in the area of consumer rights.
"Anybody who's spending money on mobile phones should be using it," he said.
