AA: Petrol prices down 7.3 cents in past month
10/11/2005 - 07:38:44Petrol prices in Ireland have fallen by around 7.3 cents a litre in the past month, according to the AA motoring organisation.
The group said a survey it conducted found the average price of a litre of petrol was now 109.9 cents, down from 117.2 cents in October.
It also said diesel prices had fallen from 113.6 cents to 110.8 cents per litre over the same period.
The news will provide some relief to motorists following relentless rises in petrol prices earlier this year due to the spiralling cost of oil on international markets.
