Mathews plans to strengthen Longford squad

Longford Town manager Alan Mathews confirmed that there will be plenty of new faces at Flancare Park next season and he looks to freshen up his side.

Mathews said: “It’s all part of the process. They day you stand still is the day you get caught.

“Every club is in a constant recruitment drive. You’re always looking at improving by getting better players in to keep people on their toes.”
