200 homes still without power after Donegal blackout

ESB technicians are working to restore power to around 200 homes still without electricity following a blackout yesterday.

A company spokesman said most of yesterday's outages had been repaired, apart from isolated pockets in Killybegs and Letterkenny that were expected to be reconnected later this morning.

Meanwhile, electricity was restored to around 500 homes in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford overnight following a separate blackout.

The disruption in the town, as well as that in Co Donegal, was caused by bad weather.
