Zeta Jones: Church should disguise Welsh accent
08/11/2005 - 13:39:07Catherine Zeta Jones says Charlotte Church should disguise her Welsh accent if she wants to break into movies.
The Hollywood star pointed out that there aren't many movies for Welsh lasses and that it was one of her biggest problems when she started.
She also revealed that her husband, Michael Douglas, cannot understand her when she speaks to her mum in Swansea.
She goes back to her strong Welsh accent and Michael says: "That's a beautiful language, you should speak Welsh more often".
She has to tell him she's actually speaking English!
Meanwhile, she says that her husband has banned her from the kitchen after she burnt a pan and now only "microwaves chicken nuggets."
