Family escapes pipe bomb attack
07/11/2005 - 08:25:36A family escaped injury today after a pipe bomb attack at their Co Antrim home.
The device was thrown through the living room window of a property in the Dunvale area of Ballymena.
Police said a woman, her 22-year-old son and 17-year-old daughter were in the house when it was targeted shortly before 1.30am.
Substantial damage was caused to the front of the house and the living room ceiling.
Detectives have yet to establish a motive for the attack.
