Bomb scare at Down Royal
05/11/2005 - 14:22:25Racegoers at Down Royal have been forced to evacuate the grandstands after a bomb scare.
The Northern Irish track was preparing for the third race of the afternoon at 2.10pm when all those present were ushered into the centre of the course.
A lengthy delay for the remainder of the card, which features the prestigious James Nicholson Wine Merchant Champion Chase, due off at 2.40pm, is expected.
