Black wants Jackson to adopt him
05/11/2005 - 11:28:52Actor Jack Black had so much fun working with Peter Jackson on new movie King Kong that he now considers the film-maker his adoptive father.
Black, who stars with Adrien Brody and Naomi Watts in the giant gorilla epic, was initially daunted by the prospect of working under the Lord of the Rings director, but the pair soon developed a strong bond.
And Black also has a special affection for Jackson's wife Fran Walsh.
He says: "I just wanted to move in and be their child. He (Jackson) decided long ago never to walk in anyone's shadow."
