Waterford United and City battle for crucial points

04/11/2005 - 10:42:26
Waterford United and Cork City will both be desperate for the three points from their clash at the RSC for very different reasons.

In-form Waterford have picked up 10 points from a possible 15 to climb out of the relegation zone since former Cork manager Pat Dolan joined the Blues’ backroom team but still need further points to retain their premier division status.

Cork, meanwhile, are still desperate for the points to stay on top of the premier division as the season enters its final two weeks.

Waterford are likely to be unchanged from last week’s 1-0 victory over Derry at the Brandywell while Cork will, once again, be without John O’Flynn while Denis Behan is suspended.
